Hello! My name is Miles a 18 month old who was diagnosed with a rare disease called Menkes.  Menkes disease occurs in only 1 per 50,000 to 100,000 live births in the United Sates, fewer than 100 cases per year.  Most affected children pass by 3 years of age.  Please browse my site and help me and my doctors research for a cure!  If Menkes is identified and treated in the first 10 days of life, the prognosis is significantly improved.  Please learn the symptoms!
